About the Role
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager, or Kaiwhakahaere Hoko me te Mākete, to join our team. In this permanent, full-time position, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our sales and marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve our business objectives.
- Manage and lead the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Identify new market opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients to expand our customer base.
- Oversee product development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive sales growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with overall company goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using KPIs and metrics, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Main Tasks
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in transactional sales of live lobster, primarily targeting the Asian market.
- Leading the creation of compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders such as distributors, retailers, and industry partners to enhance our brand presence.
- Conducting regular market research to understand consumer preferences and industry trends for informed decision-making.
- Driving sales initiatives through effective communication of product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions.
- Collaborating closely with the production team to ensure seamless alignment between supply chain capabilities and market demand.
Requirements
We are looking for a dynamic individual who possesses:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing management.
- A demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- A strong understanding of the seafood industry and market trends.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
