About the Role In this position, you will primarily work in industrial environments, managing electrical systems that are crucial for smooth operations. Your daily responsibilities may include: - Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications - Installing, testing, and maintaining industrial electrical equipment and switchboards - Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults using specialized test instruments - Wiring, connecting, and commissioning electrical and control systems - Working with industrial machinery, automation, and process control equipment - Installing and commissioning solar PV and other alternative energy systems, where applicable Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician - A current NZ EWRB Practicing Licence is essential - Trade qualifications are preferred, but significant experience may be considered in lieu - Own tools and reliable transportation - At least 2 recent work references - A strong commitment to Health & Safety best practices - Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening Benefits We offer competitive pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
