About the Role We are currently seeking detail-oriented and skilled painters to become part of our fantastic team in Hawkes Bay. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting in various settings, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. You will select and mix paint according to specifications provided by clients and designers, applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a high standard. Additionally, you may work at heights on scaffolding when required and apply special finishes to enhance the appeal of surfaces. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess an NZQA in Painting and Decorating or have proven experience in professional painting. A minimum restricted license and your own transport are required, along with your own painting equipment or tools. We are looking for individuals with a strong attention to detail and quality control, a solid work ethic, and excellent punctuality. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are also essential. Benefits We offer a competitive starting rate of $30 per hour, with weekly pay.
