About the Role
We are excited to announce a newly created leadership position within our company. This role provides an excellent opportunity to shape our strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead a diverse team of 13 members across Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Systems/Support, and Warehousing. You will play a key role in executing our growth strategy and enhancing our commercial operations.
We are looking for someone who is not only a reliable leader but also a change advocate—someone who is energetic, results-oriented, and prepared to take on a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet key performance indicators and manage change effectively.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to manage stock and logistics.
- Support the development and execution of market strategies.
- Maximize the use of existing software and introduce new tools as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including accountants, bankers, suppliers, and freight consultants.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- A CA qualification is preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior commercial role.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to deliver projects.
- Excellent multitasking ability and proficiency in software applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
