About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. In this role, you will work with our under 2s in two beautifully designed spaces:
- Fern Room (ages 3 months to walking, approximately 12–15 months): Here, we emphasize building strong, trusting relationships and creating a safe, home-like atmosphere. Our Kaiako collaborate closely with parents and whānau to ensure that each baby feels secure, cared for, and supported in their development.
- Nikau Room (walking to 2 years): In this space, we foster warm and welcoming environments where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. We prioritize open communication with families to build strong connections, ensuring that each child is cared for every step of the way.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor of Education or Diploma of Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) with a current NZ Teacher Certification
- A strong understanding of child-led learning, planning, and curriculum development
- Solid knowledge of current ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to maintaining high compliance standards
- A clear dedication to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through your teaching practice
- A passion for early learning and a drive to deliver high-quality education
