As we continue to grow and adapt to increased demand, we are excited to invite a full-time Parcel Sorter to join our Parcels division. About the Role In this position, you will play a vital role in the safe handling of freight, ensuring we meet our target delivery goals while providing timely and damage-free service to our customers. The role requires commitment to the morning shift, which runs from Monday to Friday, 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Key responsibilities include: - Loading and unloading freight safely and securely - Using On-time to efficiently scan freight and achieve operational objectives - Ensuring completeness of documentation accompanying freight - Operating all equipment safely and proficiently - Managing bay labels, re-stacking damaged freight, and protecting leaking products - Maintaining positive working relationships - Communicating effectively within a team environment Requirements To succeed in this role, you should be physically fit, possess excellent team coordination skills, and have some experience in the freight industry. Additionally, you will need: - Prior work experience in the freight industry - A strong focus on health and safety - An OSH approved forklift certificate - A forklift endorsement (F) license (preferred but not essential) - Experience with long forks (preferred but not essential) - An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential) Benefits We prioritize our people and strive to promote from within, offering career progression opportunities and long-term employment.
