About the Role
We are excited to offer a permanent part-time opportunity for a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team, working across Waitakere Hospital and North Shore Hospital. This role is structured for 0.4 FTE, equating to 32 hours per fortnight, with negotiable weekday hours to suit your availability.
As part of our dynamic imaging team, you will engage in a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including general, obstetric, pediatric, vascular, and some musculoskeletal cases. Our busy ultrasound departments provide an excellent environment for professional growth, allowing you to broaden your knowledge and skills while contributing to the training of others.
In addition to a variety of examinations and pathologies, we offer opportunities for career development and teaching. We also provide seven days of paid educational leave annually, fully funded conference attendance, reimbursement for registration and membership fees, and a complimentary gym membership.
About You
We are looking for a Sonographer with vascular training experience who has a passion for teaching and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. While vascular experience is essential, competency in general and obstetric ultrasound is preferred but not mandatory. You must hold qualifications recognized by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and possess a current annual practicing certificate.
