We are committed to maintaining our reputation as a leading supermarket, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our team. About the Role We have a full-time opportunity for a qualified or experienced Baker. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts, starting between 3 and 4 am. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within our large supermarket scratch bakery, including operating ovens, preparing dough, packing products, decorating cakes, making pies, and managing retail displays. Requirements To be considered for this position, the ideal applicant should possess the following attributes: - Proven customer service skills - Experience in a fresh food environment - A bakery qualification (level 4 or 5) or at least two years of full-time experience - A good understanding of written and spoken English - A strong team player mentality - A clear drug and criminal record - An eye for detail and strong merchandising skills - Knowledge of food compliance and workplace health and safety standards Benefits We offer a supportive work environment and the opportunity to develop your skills within a thriving team.
