About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Social Worker who possesses strong assessment and communication skills, with experience in an inpatient setting and a keen interest in Women's Health. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and energetic professional who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Experience in working with Māori and whānau, along with knowledge of Tikanga and Kaupapa Māori, is highly desirable.
About the Team

- Developing and implementing social work best practices on the ward
- Conducting advanced psychosocial assessments and providing therapeutic social work interventions for incoming referrals
- Performing risk assessments and interventions related to child protection and family violence
- Offering grief and loss counseling
- Providing pre-decision counseling
- Managing complex cases
- Supporting discharge planning
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven clinical knowledge and expertise in managing women's health issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary health setting to deliver outstanding patient services
- Registration with the New Zealand Social Worker's Registration Board (NZ SWRB) along with an Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- The ability to participate in an on-call service on a rotating basis
