Drilling Labour - NZ FIFO

About the Company We are excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their careers in the mining industry. Our company is seeking multiple skilled and motivated laborers to join our dedicated team working in various mines across New Zealand. About the Role In this permanent position, you will be required to work on a roster of two weeks on followed by one week off. We provide all necessary travel arrangements, meals, and accommodation for our team members. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the driller with rods - Helping with the setup, dismantling, and relocation of drill rigs - Removing and cleaning core samples - Presenting core samples - Assisting in daily pre-start checks - Monitoring and maintaining fuel and oil levels - Conducting routine maintenance on rigs - Cleaning drill rigs, vehicles, equipment, and tools - Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: - A full driver's license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle - New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency (work visas are not accepted) - Previous experience in trades is preferred - A clean criminal history check - Strong health and safety standards - Willingness to work away from home for periods of up to two weeks - Ability to lift over 23 kilograms - Flexibility to work both day and night shifts Benefits In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer: - A permanent employment opportunity - Competitive hourly rates - Travel to and from the work site covered - Accommodation and meals provided - The chance to work across multiple locations throughout New Zealand If you are eager to take on this opportunity, please reach out to Katy at 021459391 or send your CV to katy.bird@hays.net.nz.
