About the Role
We are seeking General Medicine Physicians to join our team in the Lakes district, a region known for its stunning mountain biking trails and beautiful lakes. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including outpatient care through our ambulatory center, inpatient ward work, and participation in the on-call roster. We have multiple positions available and are open to candidates with various subspecialties.
About the Team/Service/Location
In this role, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team that includes cardiologists, oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other medical professionals. The Lakes district has a rich history of training registrars, house officers, and medical students, providing a rewarding environment for professional development. About You
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about developing specialist services to meet the needs of our rapidly growing and culturally diverse population. To be considered for this position, you should:
- Hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Have experience working in an acute hospital setting
- Actively participate in the education and training of both undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing staff
