Currently, we are seeking a talented Digger Operator for a project based in Christchurch. About the Role We are looking for a skilled Digger Operator who will be responsible for operating small (5 T) to medium (20 T) sized excavators. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in performing intricate tasks and will be able to demonstrate their capabilities in operating these machines effectively. Duties - Operate excavators ranging from 5 T to 20 T - Select and fit appropriate attachments - Perform final trim work - Conduct trench digging and backfilling - Assist with general labor tasks as required - Adhere to site health and safety regulations Skills and Requirements - Minimum Class 1 driver’s license - At least 5 years of experience operating small to medium-sized excavators - Demonstrable experience in executing detailed tasks on excavators - WTR endorsement - Reliable transportation - Strong work ethic Company Culture Our client is well-respected for its commitment to investing in its employees.
