About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fitter or Mechanical tradesperson to join our Facilities Team as a Mechanical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a variety of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. You will work within the Facilities Maintenance team, where your attention to detail, methodical approach, and ability to plan, organize, and execute minor works will be essential. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to be on call are important requirements for this position.

About You
We are looking for candidates who have a strong passion for their work, whether you are a Fitter with ten years of experience or have several years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with a diverse range of individuals
- A proactive and positive 'can do' attitude
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Comprehensive mechanical skills and knowledge of piped systems
- Good understanding of plumbing maintenance

- A strong service orientation, committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
- A relevant mechanical trade qualification
- A valid driver's license
