About the Role
We invite you to join our maternity team at Wairau Hospital in Marlborough as a Core Midwife. In this permanent 0.6 FTE role, you will practice midwifery in a supportive and dynamic maternity unit that emphasizes women-centered and culturally respectful care.
Our team is enthusiastic about welcoming new midwives, and they often highlight the appealing lifestyle in the Marlborough region, which boasts beautiful scenery, a pleasant climate, and a collaborative work environment. You will primarily cover staff leave and assist during peak capacity, contributing to our annual average of 500 births. With a midwifery-led service, you can expect your core midwifery role to be busy and diverse, ensuring that no two days are alike.
