    About the Company We are a reputable plumbing company dedicated to providing high-quality plumbing services in both residential and commercial settings throughout the Auckland area. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction drives our projects, and we are looking for a reliable plumber to join our team. About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the following: - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drainage systems, and related equipment. - Interpret blueprints and building specifications to accurately map out pipe layouts, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials. - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to leaks, clogs, or pressure problems. - Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes using hand and power tools. - Ensure that all installations comply with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. - Perform inspections and routine maintenance to prevent future issues. - Respond to emergency plumbing calls and resolve urgent problems. - Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other professionals on construction projects. - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria: - You must be a PGDB certified plumber or exempted by PGDB. - In-depth knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems is essential. - Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment is required. - Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications is necessary. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. - Physical stamina and strength are important for this role. - A valid driver’s license is required if travel is necessary. Working Conditions This position requires availability from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. - Guaranteed hours of work per week: a minimum of 30 hours, with the possibility of up to 50 hours. - You may need to be available on public holidays and for callouts at any time. - Evening, weekend, or emergency shifts may be required. - The work involves physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods, and may expose you to wet or confined spaces.
