About the Role We are looking for an experienced roofer with cladding expertise who possesses not only technical skills but also the ability to lead by example. In this role, you will be actively involved in hands-on roofing and cladding tasks while ensuring that operations run smoothly on a daily basis. Your calm demeanor and strong communication skills will enable you to seamlessly guide your crew and coordinate with worksite leads. While you will not have formal management responsibilities, your experience will naturally position you as a leader whom others respect and follow. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing hands-on roofing and cladding work using both hand and power tools. - Keeping day-to-day operations efficient and organized. - Communicating effectively with your crew and worksite leads. - Taking initiative and driving momentum when necessary. - Demonstrating confidence while working at heights and adhering to all safety protocols. - Maintaining a tidy work environment and demonstrating a strong work ethic. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should bring the following: - Proven experience in roofing, cladding, or a similar field. - A strong safety mindset and familiarity with site protocols. - The ability to provide direction and set the pace for your team. - Physical fitness and the ability to perform well under pressure. - Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented attitude. - A full class 1 license is preferred. - A solid understanding of safety processes. Job Details - Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. - No weekend work required. - Compensation is based on experience. - We offer a solid forward workload and strong support from our team.
