About the Role We are currently seeking a Programme Facilitator for Community Participation to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This position involves working 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 8:00 or 8:30 AM to 4:30 or 5:00 PM. The role will primarily be based in the Waitemata and/or Rodney regions. As a Programme Facilitator, you will engage with individuals to address their identified needs, fostering citizenship through meaningful community engagement, education, employment, and the development of supportive relationships. This will involve one-on-one and group facilitation, guided by Strengths Assessments and the creation of Personal Goal Plans. The needs you may address include enhancing interpersonal skills, facilitating access to further study, preparing clients for employment, and encouraging local community engagement. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - A New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or an equivalent qualification - A Full New Zealand Driver's Licence - A valid work visa, residency, or New Zealand citizenship - The ability to work effectively in a team environment while embracing a bicultural perspective - A professional attitude with strong boundaries and ethical conduct - Experience working within the mental health sector - A genuine passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey Benefits At Ember, we value our employees and recognize that they are our most important asset.
