    About the Company We are proud to represent New Zealand's leading manufacturer of food-grade stainless steel vats and other high-quality stainless steel projects. Our client specializes in advanced refrigeration technologies for the dairy, beverage, food tech, and agribusiness sectors. With a dedicated team of approximately 77 professionals across two locations, we are experiencing significant growth and are now seeking five experienced Stainless Steel Fabricators to join our manufacturing facility in South Taranaki. About the Role This full-time position offers 40 hours of work per week, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, allowing you to enjoy a three-day weekend every week. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Reading and interpreting plans and specifications - Cutting, shaping, and assembling stainless steel products - Performing MIG and TIG welding, ensuring strong and high-quality welds - Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications - Adhering to health and safety laws and regulations Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of three years’ experience in stainless steel fabrication - Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding - The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - A trade qualification is preferred but not essential - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality - A genuine team player - Site work experience is an advantage Benefits We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including: - The opportunity to enjoy three-day weekends every week - Long-term job security, along with a monthly performance bonus - An annual health and wellness benefit of $250, known as the “Get a Life” program - Complimentary lunch once every fortnight - An active social club - A clean, well-maintained workshop that focuses exclusively on stainless steel - Free daily transport from New Plymouth, if required Important Note Our client is an Accredited Employer with current Job Tokens.
