About the Role
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Gisborne Hospital. This full-time, permanent position plays a crucial role within our Pharmacy Department, which is known for being supportive and forward-thinking. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient services, ordering medications, managing ward stock levels, and taking medication histories from inpatients in the wards.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will work as part of a cohesive Pharmacy team at Gisborne Hospital, where you will receive support from pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and a pharmacy assistant. About You
We are seeking candidates who possess excellent oral and written communication skills and can work effectively within a small team. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role. The ideal applicant will have:
- A Pharmacy Technician qualification or a willingness to pursue this training

- Effective teamwork and time management abilities
- Proficient keyboard and data entry skills
