About the Role In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting individuals on their recovery journeys within our Pounamu (adults) and Galbraith (youth) services. Your primary focus will be collaborating with other mental health professionals and support workers to provide essential assistance to Tangata Whai Ora. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Providing clinical expertise that ensures safe management and effective service delivery to clients. - Assessing and managing potential and actual client risks while ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and communication are in place. - Overseeing client documentation from entry to exit, which includes conducting Client Pathway assessments and Support Needs Assessments. - Supplying clients with the necessary information to empower them to make informed choices. This is a permanent, full-time position with rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday, including an on-call roster as needed. The salary for this role ranges from $68,037.77 to $102,000.00, with placement within this band determined by the qualifications and experience of applicants. About You We are seeking a positive, flexible, vibrant, confident, and compassionate individual to join our service. You will need to have a keen eye for identifying changes in behavior and the ability to respond effectively to crisis situations. To thrive in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Current full registration with a professional body recognized under the HPCA 2003 Act or HPCAA 2003, Social Work Registration, or DAAPANZ. - Ideally, at least two years of post-qualification experience within the Mental Health or Addiction sectors. - Proven knowledge and experience in creating personalized plans. - A demonstrated commitment to recovery values. - Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. - Eligibility to work in New Zealand. - A current full driver's license.
