About the Role We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to take ownership of our Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental functions within our dynamic and successful manufacturing organization. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is perfect for an individual eager to fully engage in these critical areas and play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational excellence. In this position, you will lead the implementation and development of our broader group policies, transforming strategic frameworks into actionable initiatives that promote behavioral change, while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability. A significant aspect of your role will involve supporting other team leads in the business who manage health and safety practices across various departments, ensuring alignment, consistency, and a shared sense of accountability. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety: You will implement and maintain effective safety systems, conduct thorough risk assessments, and cultivate a culture of wellbeing and compliance. Quality: Your responsibilities will include overseeing quality assurance frameworks, managing audits, and ensuring that both products and processes meet internal and external standards. Environmental: You will champion environmental responsibility, guarantee regulatory compliance, and lead sustainability initiatives throughout our operations. You will translate group-level Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies into site-specific actions that engage employees and drive meaningful behavioral changes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and team leads will be essential as you work to support best practices and promote ownership of HSEQ responsibilities. About You We are looking for candidates with proven experience leading HSEQ functions within a manufacturing or industrial setting. You should possess a strong understanding of relevant legislation, standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and best practices in the field. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role. A relevant tertiary qualification in health and safety, quality management, environmental science, or a related discipline is required.
