About the Role
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $28.00, with weekly pay. The work schedule involves a rotating roster:
- Weeks 1 and 2: Day Shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weeks 3 and 4: Night Shift from 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM
As a counterbalance forklift operator, your responsibilities will include operating the forklift and performing physical tasks, with an estimated split of 50/50 between both. Your duties will involve loading cardboard into a compactor and sorting through recycling as necessary.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A current OSH Forklift Licence
- A Full Class 1 Licence and F Endorsement
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Physical fitness to perform the required tasks
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to use initiative and take direction
- Strong teamwork skills along with the ability to work independently
