About the Role We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an individual with a diverse skillset to join our Penrose, Auckland team as a Paver/Miller Foreperson. In this role, you will lead a crew of operators and laborers while also operating both Miller and Paver machines. You will be responsible for driving the Paver machine and operating the mixer to control the mix manufacturing process, as well as loading raw materials onto the machine while it is in operation. Additionally, you will operate the Miller machine to remove old asphalt and prepare the area for new asphalt application. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have some experience in supervising and leading a crew within the civil construction industry. The following qualifications are essential: - A Full Class 2 driver's license (minimum), with W, T, and R endorsements being beneficial - A strong commitment to safety and environmental management, along with experience in hazard identification and risk management - A positive attitude and a strong work ethic - Reliability and dependability Benefits At Downer, we are committed to delivering excellence by ensuring our people have the right environment and resources to succeed.
