About the Role
We currently have multiple Process Worker positions available for our 2026 season. While relevant experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as we provide comprehensive training for all new hires. These roles include both day and night shifts, and applicants should be prepared to work on weekends.
The positions are full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Employees can expect a minimum weekly earning of $705.00, with the opportunity to earn more based on additional allowances and piece rates. Due to the seasonal nature of our business and the annual close-down periods, hours may fluctuate above the minimum.
Key Responsibilities
As a Process Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Performing yard duties and handling livestock
- Processing meat carcasses in accordance with customer specifications
- Safely separating organs and glands from carcasses using proper knife handling techniques
- Operating machinery to process, pack, and transfer carcasses or products
- Packing boned meat and meat products into cartons
- Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers
- Loading meat products onto trucks
- Cleaning and sanitizing work equipment and areas
