About the Role
We are currently seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Farm Machinery Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in various tasks, including mechanical work, assembly, equipment preparation, deliveries, and yard maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with farm machinery
- Ability to assemble and set up farm equipment
- Comfort with water blasting and cleaning machinery
- Experience operating a tractor for deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Mechanical Work: Perform basic mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Assembly: Assemble new machinery according to specifications.
- Equipment Preparation: Water blast and clean used machines to prepare them for sale.
- Deliveries: Safely transport equipment using a tractor.
- Container Unloading: Assist with unloading shipments and organizing inventory.
- Yard Maintenance: Maintain a tidy and organized yard to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
