About the Role As we expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Dunedin team. This position is essential for supporting accurate cost management and financial oversight across multiple projects and locations. In this role, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with experience in both residential and commercial construction in New Zealand, along with relevant qualifications. You should take pride in your strong interpersonal skills and your ability to build effective relationships with all levels of our organization, from site teams to senior management. We are looking for a high-performing individual who has a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of successfully managing deadlines and budgets. Your responsibilities will include cost control across current projects, setting up cost reports, estimates, and tracking uncommitted costs. You will need to confidently interpret construction drawings and tender documents, obtain and assess subcontractor quotes, and review inclusions, exclusions, and contract conditions. A solid understanding of industry-relevant software and digital tools is essential for your success in this position.
