About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Carpentry Foreperson with a solid background in concrete and masonry to join our team. This leadership position involves guiding a diverse group of skilled tradespeople and local laborers on a new-build project in a tropical setting. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and maintaining safety standards while also being hands-on in your approach.

What’s on Offer?
- Flights covered from any major airport in New Zealand
- Meals, accommodation, and personal protective equipment provided
- A competitive contracting rate of NZD $78.95 per hour, with a standard 45-hour work week over five days
- Rotations of eight weeks on and two weeks off, with potential for extended periods
What We Need From You
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Trade qualification in carpentry
- Proven experience in carpentry work and site supervision
- Strong ability to maintain high safety and quality standards
- Experience in coordinating teams and supporting project planning
- Concrete experience is essential
- Ability to work in hot and humid conditions, demonstrating resilience
What’s the Catch?
Please note that due to travel restrictions, we can only accept applications from New Zealand or US passport holders who are currently residing and working in New Zealand. Additionally, candidates must be willing to receive vaccinations for Flu, Tdap, and MMR, and will need to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. A full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence and a clean criminal record are also required.
