About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a hands-on role that involves operating heavy machinery and mobile plant equipment. This position is essential for keeping our debarking machine efficiently running and producing top-quality products.
In this role, you will operate the L180H pivot loader to transport logs through the debarking machine, assist with key maintenance tasks, and ensure that the site remains clear of bark and by-products. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining productivity, efficiency, and safety within the team. What You Will Be Doing
- Operating the L180H pivot loader to facilitate the movement of logs through the debarking machine.
- Running the Debarker machine to process logs for export.
- Keeping the site clear of bark and by-products to ensure smooth operations.
- Performing daily maintenance and assisting with plant and equipment repairs.
- Collaborating closely with the team to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
Shift Schedule
This role operates on a month-on/month-off rotational schedule, with morning and afternoon shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, depending on volume requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year of loader experience, with preference given to those with pivot loader experience.
- Experience working with logs is an advantage, but not essential.
- A valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence is required, and having Forklift (F endorsement) and WTR endorsements is a plus.
- A practical, reliable, and safety-focused attitude.
- A team player who enjoys working outdoors and engaging in hands-on tasks.
