About the Role We are seeking experienced Class 4 and Class 5 Drivers for a project starting in mid-February in the Tokanui area. This project is anticipated to last approximately 16 months and will involve a variety of driving tasks including material transport, site delivery, heavy machinery operation, and general laboring. Key Responsibilities - Drive Class 4 or Class 5 vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from the project site. - Assist with the loading and unloading of materials. - Operate vehicles with a WTR endorsement for transporting machinery on site. - Ensure safe and efficient operations at all times, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. - Communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Key Skills and Qualities - A valid Class 4 or Class 5 Driver’s License is required. - WTR endorsement is preferred. - Previous experience driving heavy vehicles and transporting equipment is advantageous. - Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading tasks. - Strong understanding of health and safety protocols. - Reliable and capable of working well in a team environment. - Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Ideal Candidate - Holds a Class 4 or Class 5 Driver’s License with a WTR endorsement. - Able to pass a drug test and provide two work references. - Possesses reliable transport to the Tokanui site. - Has a clear Ministry of Justice record. - Previous experience in transporting materials or operating heavy machinery is a plus.
