About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Water Serviceperson to join our Dunedin team. This position offers the chance to work on utility infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on the delivery of water main and gravity pipeline capital works. In this role, you will play a key part in assembling connections and services, and depending on your qualifications, you may also operate machinery or undertake additional tasks.
Requirements
To thrive in this position, you will need to be organized and adaptable in your work approach. A strong technical background with attention to detail, along with a dedication to health and safety and exceptional customer service, is essential. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and a solid work ethic.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in water, wastewater, and stormwater management
- Level 3 Infrastructure Works / Pipeline certification or equivalent
- A strong civil background
- Experience in testing and commissioning of water mains is advantageous
- Class 1 and 2 driver's licenses, with WTR endorsements being a plus
- A strong emphasis on health and safety, along with a commitment to environmental protection
- A desire to learn new skills and develop a stable career
