About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to operate CNC Laser and Plasma machines in a manufacturing and production environment. This is a full-time position based in East Tamaki, offering ongoing hours and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
In this role, you will work primarily with mild steel and will be responsible for cleaning and loading products onto trucks for dispatch. Additionally, you will support various warehouse operations as required. This position requires a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, and you will have the chance to work with both steel products and glass plates.
Shifts
The working hours for this position are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, consisting of 12-hour shifts. There is also an opportunity to earn an incentive for additional hours worked, allowing you to reach a total of 40 hours per week.
Requirements
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit team player who demonstrates excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to work overtime when necessary. Experience with gantry cranes is a plus, but training will be provided if needed. A background in production or manufacturing is advantageous, and familiarity with steel or glass products will be highly regarded. Above all, we value an eagerness to learn new skills and contribute positively to our team.
