About the Role We are seeking a Baker/Assistant Baker to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks including two days of packing and retailing, one day of sweet baking, and two days of bread baking. While we provide full training, any prior experience in a commercial baking or kitchen environment would be advantageous. Please note that this position requires early starts and availability on one weekend day. Your responsibilities will include: - Scratch baking our fresh bread daily with flair and quality. - Assisting in the development of our product range to meet customer preferences. - Supporting production planning and process development to enhance efficiency. - Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized bakery area in accordance with company policies. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess: - Some experience in commercial food production, coupled with a willingness to learn and a passion for baking. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Physical capability to lift and carry heavy objects. - A collaborative spirit to work well within a team.
