About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join our Trade Me Jobs team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts across the South Island and Lower North Island. As a trusted advisor in digital recruitment marketing, you will cultivate strong, long-term relationships by educating clients and delivering value-added solutions that help them meet their business performance goals. Your primary objectives will be to retain and grow your portfolio while assisting clients in maximizing their advertising effectiveness on Trade Me Jobs.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Engage directly with clients, from recruiters to managing directors and business owners, to identify opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and present tailored product solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
- Confidently pitch digital advertising solutions, positioning Trade Me Jobs as an essential partner.
- Create and implement strategies that deliver results in your market.
- Travel throughout the region to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Maintain and enhance our reputation as a trusted industry partner while driving sales and revenue growth.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in a Senior Account Management position.
- A proven ability to build and strengthen relationships with clients at all levels.
- A background in media, particularly in digital sales or marketing, is highly advantageous.
- Experience in recruitment is beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities through effective data use.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the capability to convey compelling narratives to individuals or larger audiences.
- The ability to work independently, whether on the road or from our Christchurch or Wellington office.
