About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled Class 4 Tipper Driver to join our client's team, a respected name in the civil construction industry. Our client prides themselves on their commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and personalized service tailored to meet the specific needs of their clients.
Based in Queenstown, with work extending throughout the greater Central and Lakes District, this role offers an excellent working environment along with opportunities for skill development and career advancement. As a Class 4 Tipper Driver, your primary responsibilities will include operating a Class 4 Tipper with a Road Ranger gearbox to transport materials to and from job sites. You will also have the opportunity to assist on the ground and potentially upskill in operating excavators and skid steers.
A typical workday will run from 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed to complete projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A current Class 4 driver's license (full license)
- Previous experience driving Class 4 vehicles
- Familiarity with manual, automatic, and Road Ranger gearboxes
- W, T, R endorsements and experience operating a loader are advantageous, though not essential
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A stable work history
- Full working rights to work in New Zealand (please note that sponsorship is not available)

Additionally, there are ample opportunities for overtime, with 40 to 50 hours of work per week available.
