About the Role We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Water Supervisor to join our team at the Dargaville office. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of the Kaipara three waters as part of a long-term Operations and Maintenance contract with the Kaipara District Council. Your responsibilities will include both planned and unplanned water reticulation maintenance, as well as the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of crew activities to ensure customer satisfaction. Key duties include: - Leading a dedicated maintenance team to deliver efficient and quality-driven services to clients and their customers. - Providing management and technical guidance to team members. - Overseeing financial activities to ensure cost control and profitability of completed work. - Identifying opportunities for improvement and leading their implementation across the contract. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should be a passionate and highly organized Water Supervisor with the ability to prioritize and manage a fast-paced workload. Additionally, you will need: - Relevant industry experience and qualifications, ideally a National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 4 Supervisor. - A full NZ Class 1 & 2 Driver's license endorsed with WTR is preferred. - Experience supervising water reticulation teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong team-building and relationship development abilities. - Active problem-solving skills and effective decision-making capabilities. - Financial and commercial acumen, including experience in pricing work. - Traffic Management training is preferred but not essential. - A commitment to working effectively with clients and their customers. - A strong commitment to Health and Safety.
