About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Painter to join our Workshop team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in industrial or automotive painting. In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage the paint shop while aligning with our company's values. Your responsibilities will extend beyond painting; you will take ownership of the entire process, from preparation to panel and paint. With a high-volume workload, it is essential that you can manage your output effectively, ensuring quality work is completed in a timely fashion. Additionally, you may be required to assist with other tasks within the workshop as needed. What You'll Do - Prepare and paint all relevant hire plant equipment - Maintain accurate records of all painting-related activities and keep the Workshop Manager informed of any issues - Order equipment and products as necessary What You Need - Strong communication skills for conveying technical information - Basic computer skills and effective record management techniques - While a trade qualification is preferred, relevant industry experience will also be considered Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package, including a 4% employer Kiwisaver contribution (up to 6% based on length of service), free staff hire in our DIY fleet, and ongoing training opportunities.
