About the Role We are excited to invite applications for the position of Media Search Analyst. This role provides an opportunity to break away from the conventional 9-5 work schedule and embrace a flexible and engaging work environment. As a Media Search Analyst, you will utilize our innovative web-based evaluation tool to perform comprehensive assessments across various media categories, including music, books, podcasts, and video. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and evaluating search results for App Store content, conducting research using online tools, and validating query accuracy and intent. You will apply your market expertise along with provided guidelines to assess the relevance and purpose of information related to your specific market. Requirements To be considered for this role, you do not need previous professional experience; however, you must meet certain basic requirements and complete a standard assessment process. This is a part-time, long-term project, and your work will be subject to our quality assurance checks throughout the agreement period. The basic requirements include: - Full professional proficiency in the English language. - Residency in New Zealand for at least the past year, with familiarity with current and historical business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs in the country. - Up-to-date knowledge of trends in applications, music, and video, along with a keen interest in internet research. - An email address linked to an Apple ID, along with experience and familiarity with Apple products. - Flexibility to work across a variety of task types, including maps, news, audio tasks, and relevance evaluations. - Daily access to a broadband internet connection, a computer, and relevant software. - Ability to work independently while adapting to innovative methodologies and processes, with strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, we welcome candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and talent. Assessment To secure a position in our program, you will need to complete an open-book qualification exam that assesses your suitability for the role, along with ID verification. Our team will provide guidelines and learning materials to assist you before the exam. You will have the flexibility to complete the exam within a specified timeframe, at your convenience.
