    About the Company CablePrice (NZ) Ltd is a respected subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Ltd, boasting a comprehensive nationwide network for sales, parts, and service. We are the exclusive authorized dealer in New Zealand for several prominent brands, including Hitachi Construction Machinery, Tigercat, Bell Equipment, HSC Cranes, Montabert, and Isuzu Industrial Engines. Additionally, we serve as the authorized dealer for Isuzu Trucks in Wellington. About the Role We are currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist who will play a vital role in providing outstanding assistance to our internal and external customers through various Fleet Management Systems. These systems include Hitachi ConSite, Bell Fleetmatic, and Tigercat RemoteLog. This opportunity comes at an exciting juncture for CablePrice, as we have recently been appointed the importer and distributor for Tigercat forestry and off-road industrial machinery in New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our commitment to health and safety, which is our top priority. You will analyze, interpret, and act on data from diverse fleet systems, review alarm reports, and follow up with the relevant branches or customers as needed. Your duties will also encompass developing and implementing strategies using telematics tools to provide insights into customers' machines, thereby maximizing parts and service sales. Responsibilities will include providing administrative support for all relevant OEM Fleet Management Systems, managing subscriptions, maintaining user records, and promoting a professional fleet system help desk. You will also train internal and external customers on the relevant systems and manage customer expectations to ensure they are well-informed. Requirements The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong organizational and administrative skills, particularly in data analysis and proficiency with Excel. A system-oriented mindset is essential for quickly adapting to new technologies. You should be able to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals and understand the significance of maintaining good customer relations. A professional demeanor is important when responding to requests and addressing any concerns. While mechanical or hydraulic knowledge is not mandatory, it would be advantageous. The ability to effectively communicate information and a positive, resilient attitude are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.
