About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our team in North Shore. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and are skilled in working with high-performance coatings. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. What You Will Do In this role, you will prepare metal and structural surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and sanding them as needed. You will mix and apply industrial paints and coatings using spray equipment, while also masking and protecting areas that should not be coated. You will apply primers, topcoats, and specialized protective finishes in accordance with specifications and inspect your finished work for quality, coverage, and durability. Additionally, maintaining spray equipment and adhering to safety protocols will be essential components of your responsibilities. What We Are Looking For We are looking for candidates with proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter. You should be skilled in using spray guns and surface preparation tools, with a strong understanding of paint mixing ratios and coating systems. The ability to read and interpret technical documents or work orders is necessary, as is comfort working in industrial environments, including at heights or in confined spaces.
