About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator based in Taupo, who has a minimum of 5 years of civil construction experience in New Zealand. In this role, you will report to the Site Supervisor and will be responsible for operating excavators on various civil construction projects. Flexibility is key, as you may also assist with other onsite tasks as needed. Key Job Requirements: - Based in Taupo or Rotorua - Strong understanding of and commitment to health and safety practices - Experience operating excavators ranging from 1 to 35 tons within the New Zealand civil construction sector - Full driver’s license and WTR endorsements - Excellent work ethic, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions - Good physical fitness and overall health - Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests As our projects extend across different regions, you should be prepared to travel and stay away from home as required.
