About the Company Tradestaff Dunedin is currently seeking enthusiastic Scaffolders and Spanner Hands to join our team. About the Role This position is based in Central Dunedin, with standard working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In this role, you will gain valuable experience across different sites, ensuring no two days are the same. We believe in fostering a fun working environment, so a sense of humor is essential. For Scaffolders, your responsibilities will include: - Erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems, specifically Ringlock and Tube & Clip. - Ensuring all scaffolding is safe, stable, and compliant with industry standards. - Collaborating closely with the team to meet project requirements on various sites. - Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment from the yard to job sites and vice versa. For Spanner Hands, you will be tasked with: - Assisting scaffolders by securing parts and tightening bolts. - Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment from the yard to job sites and vice versa. - Utilizing hand tools such as spanners and wrenches. - Ensuring that all tools and equipment are maintained and used safely. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Be fit, strong, and ready for physical work. - Have experience in physical, hands-on jobs, particularly in scaffolding or similar fields. - Demonstrate proficiency in Ringlock and Tube & Clip scaffolding systems (for Scaffolders). - Be willing to work long hours, typically 9-10 hours per day. - Have no issues with heights. - Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. - Provide prior work-related references.
