We are currently seeking a passionate and hardworking individual to join our high-performing Civil and Construction team in Penrose, Auckland.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing skilled and reliable workers with our clients in the civil and construction industry. Your responsibilities will include visiting worksites to gain firsthand insight into client needs, coordinating start dates and inductions, and providing ongoing care for candidates.
You will also focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates and developing new client relationships through business development efforts. Negotiating job offers for clients and candidates and facilitating smooth onboarding processes will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be managing a fast-paced, high-volume workload while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you ideally will have:
- Current or previous experience in trades, civil, construction, or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with clients and candidates via phone or in person
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems
- A strong work ethic driven by passion and a results-oriented mindset
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment
- A willingness to learn the intricacies of recruitment
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence
