About the Role We are currently seeking an Administrative Support professional to join our team at Radius Clare House in Invercargill. This is a fixed-term position for nine months, covering parental leave, with working hours from Monday to Friday, totaling 7.5 hours each day. Please note that we are unable to support a work visa for this role, and the anticipated start date is June 23, 2025. In this role, you will manage and provide all necessary administrative functions at the facility level, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality services to our residents. Key responsibilities include: - Overseeing the administration functions of the facility, which encompass financial recording, reporting, and preparing documentation for admissions. - Providing reception and telephone coverage, greeting clients and visitors, and efficiently managing inquiries. - Promoting Radius Residential Care and its services, conducting facility tours, and maintaining an inquiries database. - Managing accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, and client comfort funds. - Maintaining both electronic and hard copy files, keeping resident databases current, and ensuring accurate reporting. - Supporting the Facility Manager with HR activities, including recruitment, staff orientation, payroll processing, and rostering. - Assisting with both external and internal audit processes. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - A friendly and welcoming demeanor, complemented by excellent people skills. - Strong organizational abilities and reliability. - Clear and effective communication skills, capable of interacting with a diverse range of individuals, including visitors, facility staff, residents, and their families. - Proficiency in administration and financial management. - Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite and a willingness to learn new systems. - Experience in care or management within a continuing care hospital or rest home facility is desirable.
