About the Role
We are currently seeking a Foreperson with over five years of experience to join our maintenance team in Taupo. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Supervisor in managing the onsite operations of maintenance work crews and subcontractors for our Taupo maintenance projects.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide onsite operational management of maintenance work crews and subcontractors, ensuring they complete their tasks in accordance with specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Coordinate work as directed while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and the public at all worksites, applying safe work methods consistently.
- Inform the Supervisor of any issues related to the job, staff, or site hazards.
- Conduct and participate in daily pre-start meetings, hazard identification discussions, and tailgate meetings.
- Complete all required documentation for the role, including timesheets, daily job sheets, pre-start inspections, plant usage sheets, quality checklists, and hazard identifications.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- A thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
