    Project Manager – Civil Structures Gisborne - Hawkes Bay Permanent - Starting January - Market-leading salary About the Company We are collaborating with a reputable civil construction contractor to find an experienced Project Manager for their expanding Civil Structures team. Located in Gisborne, this position will involve overseeing significant infrastructure projects throughout the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast regions. With a major bridge project set to begin, this is a unique opportunity to take charge of complex, high-value civil works in a region renowned for its lifestyle, natural beauty, and close-knit professional community. About the Role In this position, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, which may include: - Major bridge construction - Pump stations and treatment plants - Complex structural and civil works in regional and remote locations This hands-on leadership role will require your technical expertise, commercial acumen, and ability to manage diverse stakeholders to ensure success. Key Responsibilities - Lead full project delivery from planning through to completion - Manage programs, budgets, risks, and commercial outcomes - Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and consultants - Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards - Build strong relationships with clients, councils, and key stakeholders - Mentor and develop project and site teams What We’re Looking For We seek candidates with: - A strong background in large, complex structural works, with a preference for bridge experience - Proven experience managing projects of significant scale and complexity - Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial skills - The ability to work effectively in regional and remote locations - Relevant civil engineering or construction qualifications What’s On Offer We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000, depending on experience, along with: - A company vehicle - Medical insurance - KiwiSaver contributions - A long-term, secure pipeline of engaging civil infrastructure projects - Genuine career development and progression opportunities - A supportive leadership team with a strong industry reputation - The chance to live and work in the beautiful East Coast region Why Apply?
