About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and practical Project Manager to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of civil, structural, and vertical projects at Eastland Port and Gisborne Airport. Your work will involve overseeing contracts, coordinating asset maintenance, and contributing to our long-term strategic plans.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from planning to completion. You will collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications
- Supporting capital repairs and maintenance across key infrastructure
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Utilizing your engineering expertise to solve problems and enhance systems
- Assisting in the revision of Asset Management Plans, incorporating GIS and conducting condition assessments
- Providing practical solutions and strategic planning support for airport and port operations
What You Will Bring
- A minimum of five years' experience in project management, engineering, or infrastructure roles
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural projects, asset maintenance, and compliance
- Proficiency in CAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and project/asset management systems
- A recognized qualification in engineering or a related field
- A proactive mindset paired with strong communication and coordination skills
