We value flexibility and teamwork, creating an environment where our employees can thrive. About the Role We are currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Joinery Estimator to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in joinery who are looking for flexible working hours, possibly during school hours. In this role, you will support our full-time estimator and step in during periods of leave, so flexibility is essential. The position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for more hours as our workload increases. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Prepare accurate quotes and tender submissions for kitchen and household joinery projects. - Liaise with designers to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements. - Source and review competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. - Support the team during busy periods and cover leave as necessary. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - Proven experience in joinery estimation or a similar role. - Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings. - Proficiency with Xero quoting systems and Excel. - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently, manage a high workflow, and meet deadlines. - Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills. - A positive, professional attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
