About the Role
We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Lounge Supervisor to join our team at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Christchurch International Airport. In this part-time position, you will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring that the lounge provides a relaxing and memorable space for travelers. Your role will encompass everything from overseeing food and beverage service to providing team leadership, all while creating "surprise and delight" moments for each guest. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work both Saturday and Sunday from 3:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Supervise daily lounge operations, allocate tasks, and support team performance.
- Provide transformational customer service that reflects Air New Zealand’s premium brand.
- Ensure that food, beverage, and alcohol service meets safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming lounge environment.
- Assist with training, rostering, and stock management in collaboration with the Lounge Manager.
We are looking for someone who is:
- A natural leader with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Experienced in a similar supervisory or lounge role.
- In possession of a General Manager's Certificate (Liquor Service) and able to obtain AVSEC clearance.
- Physically fit, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
