    About the Company We are a dynamic and multi-disciplined engineering consultancy located on the Kapiti Coast, specializing in land development and infrastructure projects. About the Role We are currently seeking a Land Surveyor, Survey Technician, or Graduate Engineer to join our surveying team. This position offers a blend of field and office work, allowing you to engage in a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities for this role include: - Conducting topographic surveys - Assisting on-site with set outs, heights, and survey control - Performing as-built surveys - Utilizing drone technology for aerial photography - Conducting cadastral surveys - Processing land online data - Using various surveying instruments and equipment, including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, lasers, and 3D Machine Control - Taking and loading Machine Control Survey Data onto machine computers - Managing GPS Machine Control and Machine Guidance System assets Requirements To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess a relevant diploma or degree in surveying or civil engineering. We welcome both graduates and experienced candidates who are seeking a new opportunity. Other desirable skills and qualifications include: - Proficiency with computer software and technology - Experience with AutoCAD, 12D, or similar packages - A willingness to learn quickly and work outdoors, as well as in a collaborative office setting - Excellent communication and writing skills - A strong sense of teamwork, self-motivation, and drive - A valid New Zealand driver's license - Residency in New Zealand or possession of an open work visa Benefits We are committed to investing in your career growth, offering a competitive remuneration package with annual reviews.
