About the Role
We are currently seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Auckland team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our operations while delivering to various locations across the North Island. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be part of a dynamic team, working on a rotating schedule of day and night shifts.
In this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading dangerous goods, specifically gas cylinders, at customer sites. We guarantee 55 hours of work each week, providing you with stable employment. You will also maintain your truck and gear while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven Class 5 driving experience, preferably in a dangerous goods environment
- Essential forklift experience for loading and unloading pallets
- A clean driver’s license
- Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual tasks
- Flexibility and adaptability, along with a strong work ethic
- A safety-first mindset with the ability to identify and minimize risks
- A Dangerous Goods certificate is preferred but not mandatory, as we can provide training
